Gasman, unfortunately your collection will never be over. I have 3 guitars which at the moment is enough but if I had the money I would be def be buying another Tele or maybe trying for a G&L.
Me personally, I would always go with Fender ahead of Gibson. My main reason for this is that you hear about Gibsons having tuning problems and I think they have lost site of what the guitar is for with their latest edition the robot guitar.
Fender keep it pure, block of wood, magnets and 6 strings. The way it should be.

I would either for with a g&l or a fender Andy. I wouldnt do a custom job if your wanting it to look identical to a Fender Thinline

My only problem with buying this guitar is that I got it from a shop that I really dont like. Its small, the staff arent the greatest and would prefer to go to Guitarguitar but still happy with the guitar.
£500 and you would think they would chuck in a strap or a free set of strings. All I got was 2 picks...... Generous or what.

Got to say after going through the songs I can play and trying various positions out I am very much impressed with my purchase. Guitar sounds sweet, the neck is lovely and smooth and the strings which I was informed are a 10 are nice on the fingers.
Very happy, guitar gets 5 out of 5 for me and well worth the money.
Not sure if I like it better than my Baja but its def a runner for my fav guitar ever played.

After trying a good few guitars out I decided to buy an American Highway One Strat, just got home but playing it in the shop through a HT-5 I was impressed with it more than the others. It came down to this or a Tele 72 Deluxe which is nice but prefered the Strat. Pics below.

Ah, for some reason I never thought of that and was just thinking of the MZ on the neck. Bit of a blonde moment there (No offence intended)
I have had a look and want to see what the big deal about American Strats are.

Guys
Probably a popular question but what does this stand for when looking at American Strats?

I know what you mean Mojo, not a bit fan of scales either or the concept of it.
I just want to play my fav tracks.
I have printed off some songs with chords im not familiar with and thought I would give them a bash.

For a guitar only I would def look at G&L. Never played one but the reviews seem positive.

Not sure of the exchange rate but I would try some of these out.
Fender Baja Telecaster G&L Models Epiphone Lennon Revolution Casino Various Strats and Tele's Fender Jaguar/Jazzmaster.
Is the money for a guitar only or do you need an amp, pedals etc etc
