Guys
Probably a popular question but what does this stand for when looking at American Strats?

Guys Probably a popular question but what does this stand for when looking at American Strats? Rosewood neck / maple neck - It refers to the fingerboard rather then the neck I think most Fenders have maple necks with either Rosewood or Maple fingerboard

Ah, for some reason I never thought of that and was just thinking of the MZ on the neck. Bit of a blonde moment there (No offence intended)
I have had a look and want to see what the big deal about American Strats are.

For interest MZ as part of the serial number and that means it is Mexican made and was made after 2000 MN would be Mexican made and made in the 1990s The next number denotes the year of manufacture so MZ3xxxxx would be made in Mexico in 2003-2004, MN5xxxxx would be Mexican and made in 1995 The z means the Zeros and the N means the Nineties (apparently). God my head is full of useless sh1t!
