Chaps,
as you know my next gas will be a thinline telecaster type. I want a telecaster shaped thinline. Not to fussed about pick ups I can always change those. If I don't go for a Tele shape I will get another custom build.
My budget will be £800 - £1000 and I am currently looking at
G&L Tribute ASAT semihollow
Fender Tele Thinlines
ST Blues
Reverend Club King
any I am missing? any recommendations?
Anyone played a St Blues? They look real nice

You shbould stop messing around, let out your inner hillbilly and buy a proper semi hollowbody. :-) regarding the St Blues the largest guitar store in Edinburgh if not Scotland stocked them for a while. But they could not have been too popular as they no longer carry them. Although they seemed ok to me.

I am looking at Tele's my self, I have always had Strats. Between the Fender and the G&L I like the fit an finish of the G&L's I have played. I like the G&L neck a little better too. Phil

Phil Yeah I must admit I am leaning towards G&L at the moment. problem is if I get a G&L I will struggle finding one to try. I believe G&L are slightly better quality then the Fenders but with their own tone. Good thing here is I am not in any rush to get one so I can see what comes up second hand as well. I do like the look of the St blues as well though!

I would either for with a g&l or a fender Andy. I wouldnt do a custom job if your wanting it to look identical to a Fender Thinline

I don't have any new suggestions, but I'd go with the G&L or the Fender.
