I must admit that this is the first time I have tried out a $99 guitar in quite some time. The last one was the Jasmin and it was built OK but the tone was thin and the fit and finish was just fair. These little Great Divides really surprised me. So if any body wants a first guitar is was soooooo much nicer than the one I started with. If I had started out with a good guitar like this instead of the junk I had , Just imagine what My playing would be like. I can DREAM can't I guys.

A friend ask me to find a first guitar for her adult son. all she was looking for is and electric accustic with a cut out and all for $100 to $150. Thought to myself probably end up with a poor guitar if and for that money Went to a local Music Go Round Store. Found a mid range Washburn for $128. no electronic but a good playing and sounding guitar and an EPiphone entry level just OK no electronics $138. Off to Guitar Center picked up a Great Devide for $99 we all know what a $99 guitar sounds like WRONG. These guitars had a nice feel and appearence and the sound was warm and nice. Played three different models and they all sound pretty good. Anyone ever heard of this brand

I could not agree more. Clean fat tones are hard to get just right and that is a area that is a weak point of the lower end Line six stuff, they always sounded a little thin to me . Humbuckers rich it up a bit but for us fender fans it is a problem. The vetta's have a much better tone. If I can just remember which button to push!

I have heard and played a Bassman several times, one of my good friends still plays it as his main amp. My favorite cab combination is the 4 - 10 combo too. Back in the ice age when I played rock I had an old Standell amp with 4 - 10 and just loved the sound. That will be a great amp. ;D

Only makes sense to use the guitar you play with to try out amps, Never had a salesman try that with me . That salesman needs a thrashing. If a salesman is a dumb shit I always ask for the manager. My pet pieve is when I going to a music super store and some teeny calls me hey man, dude, or some other slang greating. I must be getting too old.

Tried the DT 50 the other day when I was waiting for the trade, 1/2 tube 1/2 digital has some of the best of both worlds, the Bogner tube amp side was very very nice. the digital amp was typical high end Line 6 and was pretty good. If they had combined the Vetta with the all the amp models and Bells and wistles and put it with the Bogner they would have a really full servace amp.

Thought you guys might like a quick picture of my new toy. I have just started messing around with it, one word very loud, 2 - 12 in speakers. 2 built in amps can run at the same time. 45 different Amp Models, 28 different cabinet models, 30 stomp boxes and effects. All a little over whelming at the start. Sound, a little clearer than my old Flextone lll and a lot more options. Had to put wheels on it, it is just too big to be lifting around. If you can't find the sound you are looking for , you just have not pressed the right button or turned the right knob yet. The one thing I really like is a wet XLR out put that can be plugged directly into your PA. and the vetta can control the XLR and turn the amp into your own personal guitar monitor. I am a big believer in running every thing through the PA to get the best balanced sound out front. Not as pretty as a Marshal stack but a lot easier to transport. I'll post a sound check in a few weeks, once I learn that 3 rd chord better .
