That's awesome. Just out of curiosity, what's the estimated appraised value of that beast?

Dude, as crazy as this is, my girlfriend is Mexican and so, yes she listens to some Spanish music. I swear the other day, we were driving and she was listening to Selena, and I was like "I'm going to download some Mariachi music when I get home". Yeah... I think I've come a LONG way musically from a few years ago.

Cats suck. Smelly, disgusting beasts, the lot. Anyways, with a messed up finger, maybe it's time to practice on your singing!

I've messed around with some of the Godin stuff, and yeah, they're definitely attractive. Have you considered any of the electric Yamaha nylon string guitars?

There really aren't a whole lot of alternatives. Besides, if you have problems with that chord, you'll probably have problems with other chords as well. I would suggest getting a guitar with a wider nut width, and using lighter strings on them to increase the string to string space. of course, proper hand positioning goes a long way too!!

I've seen that guitar. It holds the same concept as a sports car. It's fun to look at and probably fun to play for five minutes, but where's the functionality? It's not very utilitarian, and guitarists are just that. Most don't care about looks as long as they're tone is perfecto.

Personally, I'm from the the school of thought that you should learn how to do it all. Mostly because you want to be the guy that says I DON'T want to do it, not the guy that says I CAN'T do it. Big differences between those do statements.

So I went to the Sepultura show with my girl and bestfriend. It was so sick. Angra was alright, but they were pretty cheesy. I guess power metal although technically proficient, can be quite cheesy. The singer would hold water in his mouth and spit a puff of mist into the air. It gave my girl asco. Sepultura destroyed the stage though. Loud, fast and heavy. Saw some crowd surfing, and a mosh. I was not about to get messed up in that thing.
Super fun times though. They come back to the HOB in San Diego in May so I'm pretty sure I'm going to check that show out.

I see a bunch of guitars in the slideshow for the video. Which guitar did you use?

Rayden.. This might be a stupid question, but I see that you're from New Zealand.. I don't hear a trace of any accent in your voice at all! What gives?

That's awesome. I've never heard that song, although it sounds like pretty straightforward blues.
