You must have GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). There is no cure, but like all addictions, you must continue to feed it more to overcome the law of diminishing return. Therefore I fully support you if you buy a new guitar!!

Hie everyone... I've got a question for you guys. I want to offer over 100 guitar chords and lyrics sheets on my website in PDF format. The PDF makes it easy to download, share, and print as they're very clean looking, but my question is... Is there an interest for this kind of thing? If so, I'll continue to add songs to the site. Currently I only have about 10 songs up for free. Check it out and let me know what you think.. If you guys think it's useful and you can do something with them, then I'll upload the rest. www.lessonsthatrock.com/guitar-chords/rock-guitar-songs/ I figured they could be a resource to people trying to learn the songs from start to finish, or music teachers trying to teach the same. Please reply with your thoughts!!! Thanks everyone!!

I only use one. I never trade out for another unless it's for recording. For anything live I count on the consistency in the reaction of my pick. To take it further, I only pick with one side. Always face side up. Always. When I pick and the face is down, I can tell the difference, because the pick gets cut at an angle and I can feel the extra drag.

But the real question is... Have you actually seen all those?

sounds like you guys have invested a lot of money into this. That's great. I'm sure it sounds fantastic. I use to play music on worship teams so I can definitely relate to trying to keep everyone happy.

I've actually looked into getting one of those (Boss BR900). Mostly because I'm more of a button guy, then a mouse and screen kinda guy. They look easier to use anyways. What are your thoughts on it?

Second Life is a program. It's a community of every kind of person you could imagine. It lets peoplel be whoever they want to be. It's sort of a utopian idea, but it's also a place where real musicians can get their shot at fame and popularity, and even money. It takes a bit of investment - say $20, and an interface, but after that, you can earn real money. Kinda neat.

I'm trying to improve my finger picking on guitar at the moment. I'm actually also revisiting drums since I haven't played them in over a year.

Well at least you're making the most of your time. I used to be a terrible singer, and although I'm not by any means amazing now, I am a whole lot better with practice. At least now I can pass off as a guitarist/singer, instead of just a guitarist/backup singer. Just keep practicing!
