I used to use Gator Grip 1.5mm for about 8 years, and before that I kinda floated around experimenting with different picks. My current style is very speed-oriented, and technique heavy so I'm always married to my current 1.14mm teardrops, even when I'm doing just simple strumming.. Just in case the need arises to play something neat. =)

Just a thought. For about 4 years now I've used only the 1.14mm tear-dropped shaped Tortex. Kinda like a Jazz III, but it's not as heavy, or knurled in the grip area. Before that, I use to use a 1.5mm Standard sized Gator Grip.
Do you guys have one pick or just use whatever you have around? Just wondering..

If it's quality and it's within my budget, it always goes home with me. That's what I love about my girlfriend. She gives me a lot of license for that sort of stuff. No need to hide, or make my point. If she sees that I believe in it, she'll back me all the way.

Awww. Sorry to hear that. It's always kinda sad when you lose a band. It's just so hard to get everyone's schedules and abilities to coincide continually. Are you going to be starting a new project anytime soon?

Cool stuff. You guys have some nice pieces. I especially like the 12 string.

Maybe I'm crazy but something about it really reminds of Eight Days A Week by the Beatles

AxeFX, and some sort of a decent half-stack would be nice. But as luck would have it, I'm more into photography at the moment, so I'm more concerned about buying lenses than amps right now.

I recently added the uke to my repertoire adding in such songs as I'm Yours, Rollin' In The Deep, and The House of the Rising Sun. It's been fun so far. Does anyone else know of any other classic ukulele tunes I should know?

Has anyone heard of this or explored this option? Its definitely worth looking into. If you get hooked up with a good manager and learn the ropes of the community, then you have a real opportunity to earn some real cash.

It's amazing how far we've come at being able to capture and edit raw ideas on the fly. From small handheld recorders to now apps for an iPhone, we've definitely come some distance.
