Has anyone heard of this or explored this option? Its definitely worth looking into. If you get hooked up with a good manager and learn the ropes of the community, then you have a real opportunity to earn some real cash.

Never heard of them. Is it kind of like a publishing company that deals in musicians (or networking as we call it now)? If so that could be a good deal if you want to do studio dates or live fill ins and things like that. When we needed some alt. instrument guys to record with I noticed they had kind of a network thing going on. Like a 1st call, 2nd call type of thing.

Second Life is a program. It's a community of every kind of person you could imagine. It lets peoplel be whoever they want to be. It's sort of a utopian idea, but it's also a place where real musicians can get their shot at fame and popularity, and even money. It takes a bit of investment - say $20, and an interface, but after that, you can earn real money. Kinda neat.
