If you're sick, you're sick. You pretty much have to just wait it out. There's not a whole lot more you can do to speed up the healing process. Think of how many tours get cancelled because of vocal blow out.

Super cool. And for a 40 mile drive you have to get your moneys worth out of the trip! That's insane. I'm so glad I have a Guitar Center (bleh), Sam Ash and Morey's Music all within about 4 miles of my place.

It makes you wonder what kind of music he might have put out if he had been allowed to live a few more years.

Yeah I saw this video, and it's both sad and ridiculous. If I was Slash I'd be looking for some blood.

When it comes down to it, you'll want to spend some time experimenting with the proper order for you. There are general guidelines to follow, but no hard and fast rules.

Yeah, there are few times when I write songs in a single setting, but then again, I'm a progressive artist, so once I have a musical foundation, I have to go back and see what it would sound like in 7/4, 5/4, 3/8, etc (That's typically called Elision by the way).
I would guestimate that for every minute of song I write, it usually takes around 4 hours to complete and record. So you can imagine how long it takes to rite a 10 min song. Yeah, it takes a few months if I only do it at few hours at a time.

Haha.. They were probably updating their server, and for a brief moment search results went down. When large companies update their stuff, they have to do it in small pieces so that they don't shut the site down for a week at a time.

It looks pretty, though.

That's awesome. I actually built my own pedalboard, which was a great money saver, but a total time sucker. I think it took about 10 hours to complete, but my board holds about 7 pedals, with a ton of space, a handle, rubber feet, and a pwerstrip all zip-tied down to the board. Nice work, and very creative.

That's funny. I think for me, the meaning of simple is a song with only 3 time signatures.
