Can't let this day go by without remembering Stevie. It was 20 years ago today that he died. He is and always will be my Guitar Hero! From what I've read, he was a great guy as well. I never saw him play live, but from what I've heard on the radio, tapes, CDs, etc., in my book, he was and still is the greatest guitar player. Rest in Peace Stevie!

I am with you on that one.
SRV was awesome and is still missed - I can't believe it is 20 years ago
He won't be resting though he will be trading licks with Jimi - Moon the Loon and The Ox in the rhythm section

Not ashamed to say I cried the day he died. It was like losing a piece of me. RIP Stevie...

It makes you wonder what kind of music he might have put out if he had been allowed to live a few more years.

Went to a SRV tribute concert that was on over here on the 27th Aug. He was good, played the songs pretty authentically, also played some influences of Stevie - tho don't know how he could do that without playing any Albert King... It'll never be the same, but it's good to hear them performed and done well. RIP SRV
