As part of my work with www.LearnTheUkulele.com, I was interviewed by Ukulele Player Magazine. Interestingly enough, Mickey Maguire, who is the main writer for the mag, was instrumental - no pun intended - in my taking up the uke, as he answered many of my questions about tunings, uke sizes and what brands/models to look into. You can read more (including the interview itself) here[/url].

Thanks, I lucked out, it's very figured. Nato is basically mahogany, btw...
Since those pics were taken I added another baritone uke in nato. Nowhere near as pretty as this one, but it's a fun uke to play live, and I have it tuned DGBE as oppose to GCEA on my tenor and other baritone uke... fun times!

Not sure what it's called. It's nato wood, which is basically mahogany... I have another baritone uke in that same color, but the wood grain is not as pretty.

I'd add anything by Nirvana to that list

Yes it will, and you would have to disclose the neck swap were you to sell it. But because it came from an equivalent guitar, I don't think that it is a big deal at all. Technically, all guitars are partscasters to a degree or another

The Bose L1 is awesome for a singer/acoustic guitar setup. Easy, light, assembled in 10 minutes, no sound check required.
The SA is not bad either, for that matter. $200 less than the Bose. Not as "elegant" a solution but features perfectly fine channel separation, which is what's really important in those things.
And for the record, I am no Bose fan either.
