My band has been in the studio again for the last several weeks. For the last two days we've been doing electric guitars. Our producer set up the following for me to play through. I sit in the control room with my pedalboard and a Telecaster, Les Paul and Tom Anderson Drop Top. They run my stuff through two line drivers into some kind of powered splitter box with preamps. From there I went to: A Mesa Boogie Lone Star 1x12 A 1965 Fender Deluxe (all original) A 1963 Vox AC30 (pre TopBoost and all original including stand) My Omega Modded HRD A Direct box to a Fender Bassman plug in All amps are recorded via mulitple mics to their individual channels. Now the producer can mix and match all the different tones to create unique tones. We put down some of the coolest tones I've ever done for sure. We added some different drive pedals and got some monster tones. I doubled one song with a Tele and the Anderson that sounds like a tidal wave of guitar. We should be through in about 6 weeks or so. Can't wait to share this with ya'll.
