Hi Everyone I have a Macbook that has a built in Mic and Cam but when I record on to this the picture is fine but the sound is awful and makes my guitar sound out of tune (before any wise cracks come, the guitar is in tune ;D). I would like to buy a mic just so it can pick up an acoustic guitar and my Baja played through an amp and of course my beautiful singing voice haha. The set up would be me sitting somewhere playing and having the laptop sitting close to me, the guitar/amp wont be connected to the laptop in any way. Would this sort of Mic be ok (See below) for what im wanting it to do or does anyone have something that will do what I require? www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/c-o1u-usb-condenser-mic/68429 Thanks

Currently Listening to Bo Diddley, not sure of the title of the CD, probably a greatest hits.

Andy - I have a idea, since your after a new guitar and your missus is a bit hesitant about letting you have a new one as you have so many already, you could always sacrifice your Schecter PT to me and that would be a guitar needing replaced haha

Lesblues. I am thinking of buying a mic. The one im looking at is a Samson USB one, you can get them for about 60 quid from most guitar shops, reviews seem good. I will try and get a link for the one ive been looking at www.youtube.com/watch?v=U50Fdvivv7k

Probably best mate, I will put money down though that you get a thinline as opposed to a custom.

Andy
Since the missus has given you the go ahead, you got your eyes set on a Thinline or you holding out for the Nashville?

Telecaster Body C shaped Neck will be 10 radius (upside down headstock) 4 controls, 2 volume, 2 tone and a 3 way pick up selector Gibson minihumbucker pickup 2nd pickup, still undecided I am going to go for the road worn look for the body and have a logo carved into it (depending on what a luthier says about this. Dont want it to affect the sound/tone) 21 Jumbo Frets
This is what I came up with before looking up youtube cover videos haha. But got plenty time to decide on a final project.
Pickups are proving a problem already though
