Your gagging on a thinline mate.
I have to say, personally. I would never buy a squier and this is because im hearing so many bad reviews, although reviews are individual accounts on a guitar the squier models dont warrant the risk.
Im not one for just going for Brand but Squier for me is a no no. I would save up mate and get the Fender Thinline or maybe a copy thinline if you can find any.

Yep I am.
I have only heard good reports about the Classic Vibe Series to be honest
I must admit I would rather save my pennies and get a Fender though

I think the best thing to do or to attempt is to contact your local retailer and ask for them to order you in (if the dont stock it) a Squier thinline and a Fender thinline. Give them both a good going over and then seeing if its worth the extra pennies.
It is a lovely looking guitar but without being a brand snob, Squier just doesnt do it for me. I had a look on youtube and there a good few vids of people playing the squier and it sounds nice but then again you just dont know.

It would have to be sunburst with a maple fingerboard so it will have to a Fender or possibly a G&L ASAT Tribute semi hollow My plan originally was to get a Levinson but they no longer make them
