Hi Guys
I am thinking of getting a guitar custom designed (depending on price) One thing I am interested in doing is what hendrix did and having the headstock and tuners upside down.
How is this possible/done?
Going by the pictures it looks like the neck has been joined from a the opposite hand guitar.
Thanks

You could buy a decent strat and get a neck from Axesrus or Warmoth or somewhere, bit of sanding down / finishing, fit it or take it to a Luthier. I'm sure Fender did make a reverse headstock guitar - a reissue MIM - I could be wrong though

Hi Kevina My telecaster is in for Repair at Moon Guitars in Glasgow. Their main function is Making guitars and they seem to be very good at it judging by the "famous" people who use them and the reviews I have read. So far my experience of them has been very positive. I had a long chat on the phone and then a face to face with Jimmy Moon himself in the workshop. I was very comfortable letting them do the work on my Pride and Joy, rather than say a guitar tech. Oh and they were not too pricey either compared to other quotes I had. Here's a link to their web site: www.moonguitars.co.uk/moonhome.htmlaccording to their list of Stockists GuitarGuitar sell their guitars, must be pretty good then I had a bad experience with strung out guitars and would not use them. They send out for any body work, somewhere down south.

Telecaster Body C shaped Neck will be 10 radius (upside down headstock) 4 controls, 2 volume, 2 tone and a 3 way pick up selector Gibson minihumbucker pickup 2nd pickup, still undecided I am going to go for the road worn look for the body and have a logo carved into it (depending on what a luthier says about this. Dont want it to affect the sound/tone) 21 Jumbo Frets
This is what I came up with before looking up youtube cover videos haha. But got plenty time to decide on a final project.
Pickups are proving a problem already though
