Sonar X1 Producer. I have tried several over the years and found this one to be very good. All of the top programs are very similar. A friend of mine uses Pro Tools and around here that is probably the most popular. Learning curves on these programs are pretty high so most of use don't change programs very often.

Went up to work on a new song and my main computer would not fire up. Oh well. New parts are on the way. I do miss not being able to record. My lap top just doesn't have the power to work correctly. I ordered a new Intel i7 quad processor.

Merry Christmas guys. I was blessed to have 15 family members for a few days during the holidays . Nothing like family members, no fights, a family sing along and the faces of the grand children. My daughter and I performed Mary Did You Know in Church, I just made one small error I forgot to put the capo on the 2 nd fret. Lucky for me my daughter has a really good voice and was able to get through on the lower range, and only we knew.

I have been lusting over a Line six guitar Steven Tyler model, but that is not in the cards. I am considering an IPad 2 To do some recording into. But I'll probably just get my usual bag of coal. So My wife and I will take it on a cruise on the Allure of the Seas in January. It is a vacation for my wife and some medical education for me. Can you be-leave they have a course during the trip. I'll do anything for higher education. ;D

As Christmas rapidly approaches. What does everyone have on their wish list. I know several of you guys are probably going to get a lump of coal ( you know who you are) But just encase Santa is looking the other way, what is your fondest wish, remember this is a guitar forum. ;D

I have gone through the same thing over the years. I have always used the Line 6 and digitech. May favorites over the years is my line 6 Pod X3 Live. As I have said many time low end Line 6 stuff is just OK , the high end is very good and fully adjustable . By the time you buy 3-4 pedals you have paid for a good Pod. I have had my Pod for 3 years and have not even scratched the surface off all it has to often. Good luck with the hunt.
