well I think you can get away with it, but all the shops say that needs done , I could probably manage with the knobs in the way.
I have no idea what the nut is, is that the screw thing down the middle of the neck, or the bit on the body where you string the strings ( which would need to be adjusted, and probably the main thing that would need adjusted, but they are adjustable)

I wouldn't mind being able to play that well can't comment due to risk of breaking Forum rules, or my wife reading the post

The last time I saw John Prine live, Guthrie's daughter was opening for him. Woodie's or Arloe's ?

What's the problem w/ the stringing of the guitar? Maybe I can help? Well its a left handed guitar, I know it can be re-strung without too much difficulty ( according to legend Hendrix did the same), but the guitar shops say I need to get new heads and get them put in place too ( I'd be willing to try taking them out and re-arranging them myself if I knew how), and often the cost isn't justifiable ( not only kiddies, but wife too )

Is your Legacy a G&L legacy or a brand we don't get in the UK? erm....... to be honest not knowing how to tell the difference , I bought it as part of a 'starter box' from a music chain ( the one that went bust recently). oh the left-handed electric has "Westfield" printed on the neck

at the top, my old 'guvnor' acoustic, my first guitar, the one I play most, and the one that gets trashed most ( due to kidies and its my camping guitar ) Next is my cheap 'legacy' strat knock-off, its does the job ( I don't get to play electric much due to the aformentioned kiddies) the last guitar is my Freshman semi-acoustic (apollo-2 maple ridge series), I love this quitar, hard to see from the pic but its maple with a nice blueish tint to the finish, semi-acoustic and the sound is just fantastic. oh and lastly an electric violin, though I still can't even get a note outta it : I have a nicer electric, but its left-handed ( and although I'm a sinestro I play right-handed), and I've no-idea how to re-string it

Firstly I'm a guitar noob, so don't expect greatness. Second anything recorded here is done with my computer mic, and edited by hand. I did the music for this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1Vux5NTAL0I've got another couple of pieces I've written, when I get the chance I'll upload them onto youtube or something, I'm having difficulty trying to make bridges/chorus' for them.
