Was that a zinger? It felt like a zinger to me. Sorry, but you need to translate "zinger" for me.

zinger (from the RK edition dictionary)= a witty comment designed to sound encouraging or complimentary but on further examination is an insult or put down. Can be used as friendly or non-friendly fire. Sometimes known as a left handed compliment. Of course I took yours as friendly fire.

They're my first stet of Lace's and I didn't know what to expect but I must say that so far I like them very much. The bridge is somewhat "vintage-y" to my ears and that was a great surprise. The dually up at the neck is clear and smooth and very fat. I am getting some neck work done neck week to take care of a few of my "anal retentive" issues. The other Tele guy in my band came by the house tonight and kept going on about how good this thing sounds. SSSHHHHHHHHH....don't tell Les. You know how he is about this whole thing.

He's probably working on the crib. Yeah he will be "working" on his French Chateau over the Summer. Lady Ann will do all the work and Les will sit on his fat ass drinking wine, eating smelly cheeese and playing blues. I don't know how Lady Ann puts up with him. Patience of a saint that woman ;D

Well the Tele didn't live for very long. At least in the form that I bought it in. After being seduced by Phil's Tele build I lost my mind and started selling off parts and ordering others. Now the only thing left of the original guitar is the body, two knobs, the control plate, the input jack, the cap, and one pot. I'll post pics after everything comes in and gets installed. New parts list as follows: *9.5 radius Warmoth Modern Vintage neck, maple on maple with 6150 frets, Corian nut, finished in clear satin nitro *Grover mini tuning machines *StewMac vintage string trees *Gotoh six saddle brass bridge *Bill Lawrence Keystone pups, bridge and neck *250k volume pot *4 way switch *white pickguard off a MIA Tele I used to own
I'm so excited but the only thing to come in so far is the pot, bridge, tuners and trees. Neck should be in by the end of the week. 4 to 6 weeks on the pups left to go.
