I had to double check ^^ I've done more recordings but those are originaly writen by someone else and I haven't made any modifications to those songs.. so I guess I shouldn't post them here, couse this topic is about writing songs ^^ anyways I have other version of the same song I posted above, this version was my very first, so its even more far from perfect, but I like the tonation more, here it is: www.garageband.com/mp3player?|pe1|S8LTM0LdsaSgaFC3Y2w

I have been writing my whole life, poetry, fiction, etc... I love the song format because it's succinct and can be done in 30 minutes Thought so, it had to be some training in your life

I've been playing guitar for a year now, and wanted to hear myself playing from the side so I did some recording. I'm a very big fan of 3 Doors down and this is my instrumental version of their song "Landing in London" . This is pretty amateur stuff, so don't expect pro skills and pro gear. Anyways, here it is: www.garageband.com/mp3player?|pe1|S8LTM0LdsaSgaFCxZm8

Hey kevina, I love your guitars, too bad about the Epiphone PR-5, such a nice guitar What made you choose acoustic guitar instead of electro-acoustic again, couse it seems that you have a pretty nice amp right there. Perhaps a fan of pure acoustic sound?

For me it starts with a line, and then a song comes... For example, I heard this the other day while walking past the TV room: open a beer bottle w/ your eye socket I have no idea what the context was, but I know that I will write a song with that in there Ha!Ha! Well you wrote a bunch of songs, perhaps you've trained your brain for that now ^^ Well who knows, perhaps I'll work on the songwriting some more in the future, right now I'm very enthusiastic to learn some nice guitar playing ^^

I don't even play electric guitar, but I guess it would be wah wah. I love the sound on Slash solos ^^ But you can still vote on the Poll ;D Done.

Cort are one of the biggest guitar manufacturers in the world and make / have made guitars for Fender, G&L, Ibanez, Tanglewood, Schecter etc They are starting to push their own brand a little more now . I think the APX is a pretty safe bet TBH Wow, it's a shame I didn't know about the Cort, it sounds like its a very trustworthy company then. Really nice looking guitar you have there verbosity, problem is, none of the shops in my town offer such guitars, so i wont be able to try it out. For now I have a list of guitars I shall try while in the shop: Ibanez AEL10E ; Takamine EG260C BK ; Takamine EG260C BSB and perhaps Yamaha APX500 but its a bit expensive for me.

thanks for the advice happyjack and verbosity ive watched the vids u posted and will try them out thankyou once again oh i can play some of stay by sugarland as taught by mojo and im not too bad at changing from d to a to e to g but its just a timing issue for me with that song i definately cant sing to my playing and change chords at the right part of the song as well lol In due time my friend, you will get confortable in changing between chords, once your hands start doing chords automaticaly (without thinking too much) you will see that you can sing along then Guys right here said pretty much everything you have to know about strumming, just one more thing, see that you're holding the pick correctly (if you're using one). Good luck practicing

You mentioned like 3 guitar models that I was interested in before, and thought I should try those. I got scared of yamaha APX series becouse of some new tech electronics in it, never heard of Cort, I will try that one as well. Many thanks for your advice mate, you said exactly what I wanted to hear. I'd hear other people opinions too, so feel free to write.

I've been playing for 1 year now and I wish to get myself a fine electro-acoustic guitar. What I'm looking for is not too pricy, nice acoustically sounding guitar. So I need your advice, perhaps you know some models that left you happy I'd appreciate any opinion, thanks in advance
