As much as I hate the ads (cos they make it take 5x longer to load) I'll post this in a You Tube box This is a cover of Booker T and the MG's Time is Tight. Entirely done by me (aside from the drums which are done by my keyboard - but I hit start!!!). Gear used is my Squier Tele with Kinmans direct into my boss BR900 set to Texas for lead and tightbass for... well bass. Keyboard is my old Yamaha PSR-500 set to 12 (organ 2 if I remember). Bit of mixing and syncing in Audacity and we're all good. This song more than any other I think shows the strength of a tight rhythm section. Any instrument can drop out and play some lead, and you're not left wondering "what the heck is supposed to be in there". Even with how badly I play it I haven't played keyboard in years so just ploughed away, and listened to the original for the bassline. Now it's only 12.30am here. I'm sure I'll have time to do that other thing I wanted to....
