Well, I have been trying and trying to do this cord. I now understand where it gets its name from but i shall win only a matter of time!!Oh yeah his is kind of my step into bar chords also but my fingers still seem a little weak. Not as bad on the electric but having a hard time on acoustic.

Are you using your 2nd finger for the bridge or are you using the wrape around type. thumb on the low E(1st string) 2 nd finger first fret covering the high E and B 3 finger on the G at 2nd fret and the 4-5 finger on the A an D at the 3 rd fret. Wrap around is easier for me but much harder to go into the A style barr chord.

First, learn Dm7. It has the same principle as F but it's easier. Also, if you get too frustrated, you can use Fmaj7 as a sub for F major, however, you SHOULD learn how to do F major eventually. It's an important chord.
