Last year Lady Ann, on my advice, Bought me the Vox AC4TVH / V112TV Head & Cab. So I knew they were in the house but I wasn't allowed to see them never mind play them until the 25th. Grrrrr

My epiphone mods for my little amp are calling my name every day. I have thought about replacing them with some other parts , Wires/ tube or two/ some capacitors/ and then put the real parts in the amp and give them a try. Who would know?

Watched this last night. Might be that I've gotten the other two, but they seem to be losing a bit of diversity, and just invite the same guys who all get together the same ways. A nice surprise was Ronnie Wood teaming up with Buddy Guy and Johnny Lang. Came off pretty well, tho I was totally expecting Buddy to Sing "Miss You" properly - think his voice would make a fantastic Mick stand in unfortunately they didn't sing it. Was good to see Bonamassa there, but he only did one song (on the DVD anyway). Keb Mo I enjoyed too. John Mayer used his Trio which was a good 'more bluesy' choice this time, but he didn't play anything I haven't heard from him before. The minor key version of Every Day I Have the Blues was really interesting take on a standard, but I've never heard the like of it outside of his DVD Shine a Light. Vince Gill, James Burton, Albert Lee all good as usual. Saw BB, Johnny Winter and several others only on one song at the very end so I suspect a lot of stuff on the cutting room floor from the concert. It's still a good show - don't get me wrong here - but if you're picking one out my votes still with the 2004 concert.
