hi. great board y'all have here. i've only been playing guitar for a few months but i have my basic chords down pretty well. my problem is i don't think i'm a very good singer. i go to a country jam every weekend and have yet to sing a song. can anyone recommend a song that has been posted on threechordguitar that would be really easy to sing?

Welcome to the forum! I'm in the same boat as you are as far as singing goes. I think I sound terrible when I sing, so I don't even attempt it. Out of all of the songs that Mojo sings in his videos, I think "Simple Man" would be a good one to try. I may be biased because I love that song, but because it is a slow song, and almost spoken, I think it would be a good beginner's song. Let us know how it goes!

welcome! I think that stuff by Bob Dylan is usually pretty simple chord-wise, and easier to sing, because with all due respect, Bob doesn't have a lot of range

I don't know about the EASIEST song to sing and play, but some of the easiest songs would be:
Ball And Chain - Social Distortion Story of My Life - Social Distortion Time Of Your Life - Green Day
None of them are difficult to play, and the vocal range is small too.

I find something like hoochie coochie man, red house or texas flood easiest for me. Something where the guitar plays around the words and the timing is pretty free form anyway. Can be tricky to remember to play again after you've sung and vice versa tho
