How cool is that thing. As I get older I find my self lowering a 1/2 step so I can sing . That would be a great pedal to have. I have a line 6 guitar that has a 12 string option and a you can you can set up any tuning options you want. The only bad thing is that you still hear and feel the original sounds from the strings and then the altered tunings come from the amp. So it is not good for acoustic use. Saying all that my wife has a message for you, "shame on you for showing my husband another guitar toy, I know he is going to buy."

Cool, but for my limited skills and 'hobby-only' status, it's just another case of "too many toys to distract me from actually learning something". Plus, I don't sing, so it would be money down the drain for me.

Playing in church every Sunday, With keyboard people who hate the key of E , I am thinking this thing might make my life easier, Who likes to play in the Key of Eb, Db, or any of the # keys. For me some chords just sound better and are easier to transition off of. I am going to have to look at these boxes.

Almost all pitch shifters I've heard have a tough time above 3-4 half-steps of change. This one actually sounds good! I guess you'd still hear the original tuning through the strings etc since this is a pedal you could just buy a capo! Usually if I find a progression to hard in a different key I simplify the chords to 3 notes. Geez most electronic keyboards have the ability to tune up or down steps unless you're talking about a piano / organ or something. Tho I can imagine keyboardists regarding that as very unclean, for some reason we guitarists don't care so much

I playing in worship bands for 20 years. And there is nothing like reading a chord chart in Db minor for the first time, live, and the worship leader turns around and says take a solo on the next chorus.

neat, but I don't think I'd have any sort of need for that thing. It's just so much cheaper to just get a darn capo for $10

Religious songs especially the more traditional songs are not guitar friendly. Many of them like to go up a step in the middle of the songs. Also the 12 string option would be great for many of the Christmas songs we do. We do a total of 5 songs every Sunday and three of them are in rapid succession. So putting a capo on is sometimes a real rush. As you get older , you get slower to adapt. But $200 is and expensive toy for just two tricks.

I use the same ones, they have always been my favorite for years. My Line 6 Variax 300 guitar has two fare 12 string acoustic sounds and a Rickenbacker 360 / 12 which is OK too. I can also de-tune the guitar But I am not crazy about it's overall tone.
