The Blackstar HT5 is a really nice amp and the HT1 would fit just nice in my conservatory ................ Xmas present me-thinks
4.48 Tie Your Mother Down - not a fan of Queen but that sounds sooooooo sweeeeeet
Give me some reasons not to buy it

I've got one of their speaker cabs, pretty solid. I'll have a listen later to some of these. We can also get Jet City amps that are a good cheap tube amp. Also heard good things about the Blackheart amps from Crate. I might look at a Vox Pathfinder 15r for a small light amp tho. Cheap little buggers. Depends what you're looking for tho www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXJiGmnLb0g

I have a Vox Pathfinder 10 downstairs but after playing the HT5 or the Superchamp it is lacking somehow - Jet city gear is sorta a 1/3 more expensive than the HT1 and the Blackheart is a little on the large side. I just want something small for downstairs - actually that isn't true - something small is all Mrs Miserable Jack will let me have

Here the Jet City / Blackstar stuff is about the same price. Solid state amps always lack that little something tube amps have - but the wee Pathfinder is pretty good considering the price. I would LOVE a Superchamp, or even an older Champ they're a sweet little amp, but we can't get them here. I tried and unfortunately shipping them to me, then changing the voltage to 230V makes them expensive which is why I did a home build. Epiphone valve junior? Doesn't sound like the sound you're after, but just throwing it out there

I had a friend who owned some Blackstar gear. I was quite impressed with it. Great boutique stuff, incredible tone, but not overwhelmingly expensive.

Blackstar I like because of the size but really why get a HT1 when I have a HT5 Bugera V5 may also be worth a look Those Laney Lionheart amps look pretty nice too but quite pricey Ever tried a Tech 21 trademark 10 or 30?

That little blackstart sounds really good. I am getting ready to order some modes for my little epiphone from Bit Mo.
