Just wondering if you guys play everyday or almost everyday. Whether for serious practice or just to relax or maybe even to strap on an axe and slide across the floor on your knees with "Won't Get Fooled Again" blaring in the background. (Caught ya HJ, didn't I).

Probably every 2-3 days, but I've been putting in more time lately. Almost never a serious practice unless I want to learn a song/riff.

I try to pick up the guitar every day, sometimes life get's in the way though. I'm still very much a beginner so I usually play the song I'm trying to learn over and over, interspersed with some stuff I can already play. I need to discipline myself to practise technique more. But I've been saying that to myself for the past 2 years or so. :-)

You got me RK ;D Every day if I can - serious practice mainly because I am spectacularly rubbish at playing guitar so I need to In the winter I can just about do it but in the summer not a chance I also tend to get very wraped up in what I am playing at the time and forget everything else I have learnt

Are you kidding? I'm lucky if I pick up my guitar twice a week! Now that my son started school I thought I'd have more time to play -- I have less! I've told myself I should set aside an hour each day to practice/play. Not happening! Needless to say, I am very rusty when I do play....so....don't hold your breath for any sound clips from me anytime soon! BTW Congratulations on the new title! P.S. Sometimes I think you guys are too hardcore for me !

Everyday, when you are old and senile like me I am afraid I will forget what a guitar is.

Everyday, when you are old and senile like me I am afraid I will forget what a guitar is. I'm with you on that. At my advanced age, if I didn'y play everyday I would have to relearn everything all the time! ;D I try to get in at least an hour of practice every day and probably get another hour at night just fooling around with songs I already know.

HJ- HA! I knew it. But at least you can pull it off. I'm afraid if I got down there I'd have to stay Gasman - Not a chance goatboy!! With a rep like your's we only aspire to your hardcoreness. ;D And thanks, but I'm not really Him. But you already knew that. Wully - What's up Brother, long time no see! Phil - you crack me up dude ;D

Well, I PLAY everyday, because I'm a music instructor, but I don't practice everyday. So even though my rhythm is top-notch, my intricate skills are fading slowly. It's sad, but I'm busy and I have to many instruments to work on.

I pick up my guitar every day, and play quite a lot I should say. Only problem is that I am vary lazy on learning new stuff, so I just play something I already know, mainly to relieve the stress of the day

Wully - What's up Brother, long time no see! Work! Chopping logs, You name it... But I wish I had been playing every day 'cos now I'm back to sore fingers and if I don't put this guitar down I'm going to be bleeding instead of just blistered...just a few minutes more and then I'll stop ;D

I know how you feel. I play almost everyday for a least an hour or two but last night we did a 7 hour rehearsal to get ready for a 2 hour show this weekend. by the end of the night I was toasted. To quote the Beatles "I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON ME FINGERS!!!" ;D
