Well I thought I would post some photos of my rig and new pedal board. The pedal board was inspired by Mr Blues and is still a work in progress First my Rig - Blackstar HT5 Ministack and Fender Vibro Champ XD My Pedal Board - I still need to get some Velcro for this In order -Vox Wah when I use it - Double Muff for those nice silky distortions or double up and you get the hole in the speaker sound - Behringer Compressor - I love this pedal - Behringer Blues Overdrive - sounds as good as the Boss but won't last as long - There will be a Tubescreamer T9 going in here somewhere The rest are in the effects loop in the Blackstar but would follow the above EHX The Worm sorta multimodulator - Danelectro FAB chorus - EHX Cathedrel reverb / delay - Behringer EQ. I am updating my pedals at the moment - dropped the Korg Multieffects box and replacing the effects I like with pedals. Also replacing my some of my cheap stuff I seem to be developing a fetish for EHX stuff and a Soul Preacher is coming next and possibly an Electric Mistress My biggest (and possibly only fan) 0n guard as usual - £300 of chair and the fricking dog sits in it

Is Rhana trying to wrap her tail over her ears for a reason??
Quite a rig HJ. What is your pedal board made from? It looks very futuristic, like you stole a piece of the Starship Enterprise.
Ps I bought my velcro (and make sure it is heavy duty) from hookandloop-direct.co.uk, if I remember correctly it was cheaper to buy from them direct rather than buying on ebay.

If you notice one ear is wide open - the one towards the amp - the other ear facing the other room is shut - this is to drown out Mrs Jack who is doing a lot of whinging today - probably because I have spent all day making this pedal board instead of helping her The board is made out of a piece of Aluminum checker plate which I happened to have lying around..... Getting 1 metre of 50mm velcro from Ebay for £5.00. I have had it before -I used it to velcro Mrs Jack to the ceiling last Christmas (she looked like like some sort of huge scary fly) so it should do the trick

What do you think of the Blackstar HT-5? I've thought about one but am unsure about that whole ISF thing. Can it be turned off completely?
And when you have some free time, would you mind giving us a review of the amp? I, for one, would really appreciate it.

Cool setup HJ! I really like that Blackstar amp! Does it get really loud? All I have are my two 5-watt combo amps: Vox (digital), Fender (tube). They are loud enough for my purposes, so I don't see myself buying anything bigger. Besides that, since I am barely a once or twice a week player in my own house, I can't justify buying an amp that costs more than one of my guitars (which isn't much).

The Blackstar is only a 5w all valve so it is probably as loud as your Fender - a bit louder cause of the bigger speakers. You could do a small gig with a 4 x 12 stack but there isn't loads of clean headroom - From memory have you got A Fender Champ 600?

I haven't used it for a while, especially since I got my Vox DA5. Those amp models and effects on the DA5 have kept me busy. ;D

Very nice Andy, I am guessing that the missus has kicked you out the marital suite and you are now turning your spare room into your own little entertainment room.
What are you using to power the pedals?
And how do you find the loop station?

What are you using to power the pedals? And how do you find the loop station? Not quite I bagged the conservatory as my room the day it was built so my gear has always been in there. I was gonna turn one of the upstairs rooms into a music room but I love the conservatory. It is north facing so it never gets too hot I got a power supply from Effects Power Supplies with a 6 way daisy chain The Looper is great but I haven't really used it yet to its full potential

I was going to ask the same thing. I keep wondering how much trouble I could get into with a looper of some kind.
