Hi, all. I just joined the forum today. Looks like a lot of good folks and good info.
I have a Tele question for Mojo and any other Tele players out there. I have a Highway One Tele (my first) with the original pickups. I would love to find a set of pickups (or just a replacement neck pickup) to give my Tele more versatility (for the occasional heavier rock sound or blues), but still retain the classic Tele twang and vibe.
There seem to be a ton of options out there. I have also found that the sound clips that are available on some manufacturer's sites all sound pretty much the same through my computer's speakers.
Does anyone have a recommendation?

I have a Tele Baja and always wondered how a Gibson MiniHumbucker would sound but due to the options of the Baja never thought it was necessary.
I would give the Gibson a look though, Justin Sandercoe is where I got the idea from, im sure there is a video of him playing it on his site but not 100% sure.

Thanks for the suggestions Kevina and Happy Jack - I'll give them a look.

Might want to give these a look. Torries pickups. Made in California. I have chosen these for my new Teli I am making. These guys worked with Leo Fender back in the day and now make hand wired amps and pickups. They are rated very high. They also have the whole package with all kinds of tone adjustments on the guitar. Give them a look.
