Gas is gonna get you in the end - just buy it now and save the pain - you can use the Arts Council "Buy it Now Scheme" if you are in the UK - which you are of course unless there is an Argyll somewhere else!

it is a good scheme that the arts council has.
But if you want it that bad, buy it and save yourself the pain haha

Pics... Just out the box. I was wondering WTF I had done on the drive back home but once I started playing with it I forgot all about how much it had cost. It feels soooo good in the hands and the tones from it are really nice. I sat up till all hours the last two nights playing surf guitar riffs and trying to learn 'Apache' as it sounds so right on it. TBH I could easily have, and should have, bought a Mexican or a Squire as at my standard it wouldn't have made a whole lot of difference but shallow as a puddle on a hot summer day that I am, this guitar really stood out from the rest in appearance. Plus it felt better built as there were no rough feeling around the frets, the finish is really nice- and Guitar Guitar have a great deal on just now...Also I would probably upgrade to something like this in a while anyway so would loose some money on an inferior guitar.... Why justify it? I like it and can (just) afford it. I'm really glad it's a beautiful day here as otherwise I'd just stay in and play.....got all night for that ;D ;D ;D ;D Loving it.

In comparison to the beat up Epiphone SG it is like playing twangy jangly, tone rich velvet.... ;D I particularly love the neck shape both back and front, found the SG to be too flat for my comfort and ease.

Awesome Wully...Beautiful piece of ash (TO LES AND JACK...I SAID ASH..A-S-H...ASH ;D) I owned one exactly like it for a few months but gave it to my oldest son as a congratulations gift. Its a good thing for him I love him so much cause I miss that guitar badly. Sounds great and plays great. Enjoy brother. Those are the kind of axes you could bond with for a lifetime.
