Thanks Jack... My son will be 22 this spring. The guitar is a Tom Anderson hollow drop top T w/ vintage trem. He borrowed it from me to use for a couple of songs in this show as they were recording a live CD. I think both are quite photogenic. ;D

Looks like the professional he no doubt is. Does he plan to follow in Daddy's footsteps and make a living with his guitar?

Les, I honestly hope he doesn't. I would prefer he work in a more secure and profitable industry, and enjoy music as a sideline. If you're not owned by something like this (I believe) you're much more likely to be a well rounded and happy person. On one hand, without dreams and visions we perish. On the other hand, this industry cost my father two marriages and strained relationships with his kids. It only cost me one and thankfully there were no children to pay the price for my dreams. Maybe if your priorities are in order and fame isn't involved in the dream, you can do well as a professional. But without a doubt ego plays a part in all this and we want the whole package. At least I did. Man, am I a buzzkill or what?

Brad, I am quite sure that with you to guide and offer advice (so long as he's prepared to listen and sometimes kids find that hard) he'll do fine whatever route he chooses. Have some Karma to cheer you up ;D

Thanks Les, So far so good, AND he's finally coming back to me to learn new things. For a while now I have been the "old fashioned metal Dad turned country blues guy". You know, "you play too many scales Dad, its all about ostinatos and dotted eighth note delays". I'm thinking in another few months I won't be an idiot anymore. ;D PS. and thanks for the Karma bro. Can't have too much of that. ;D
