Looking for some jazzy blues to jump on. Any suggestions? www.last.fm/music/Cassandra+Wilson/Blue+Light+'Til+Dawn Not really my cup of tea, this album features Cassandra Wilson singing a number of Robert Johnson tracks in a VERY Jazzy manner. She has an excellent voice, I'm just not taken with the musical arrangement on this album. If you follow the above link you can listen to the tracks on last.fm. She performs "Vietnam Blues" on Martin Scorsese presents the Blues, which is really good and encouraged me to listen to some other stuff by her. Some of her jazz is great but her take on the Blues just doesn't do it for me. Let me know what you think.

Ben Prestage - Beale Street and Down Home And Home Made
He is a sorta one man blues band bit like Seasick Steve but without the gimmicks
He is supporting Ian Siegal in Manchester - Me and Les are on a date ... we are going to see them at a great venue in Manchester called the Band On The Wall
If Les says it isn't a date he is in denial - we are going to the gay village together
