Seems I can't let things settle down and injoy what I have. I just installed Sonar X1, uprade from my old Sonar 8.5. Recording studio software. So what happened "the hum returned" So back to the Bios, disabled a few more things and I now have nervana. Really great soft ware, very nice update.

Just bought a new laptop on the 31st for reasons I don't want to get into. My favorite part: how quiet the dang thing is. The fan doesn't come on every two seconds. Speed-wise, I didn't want to/could spend much so it's just an i3. Still 4 GB of ram and a blue ray player. HDMI out, too. All for $549 - not too bad.

Very cool, Mojo! I'm going to need a new P.C. somewhere down the line also.

ack PC GAS lol.
Nah I just have to set myself up a nice recording area. That will be sweet. Maybe tomorrow since I still have one more day off (day after new years observed!)
Unfortunately my Boss BR900 has today decided to be a pain and cut out at on any recording around 3 mins 30.... I had fun getting those clips done. I've run an update patch that should fix it otherwise it's off to the memory card shop and hopefully not the 'new recording box' shop.

Not only am I in the fast lane but I am now Mobile. I have had a smart phone for about 1 1/2 years but have have allot of trouble with the phone glitching. Finally changed my Carrier and got a new MOTOROLA DROID X. I am telling you that this is a really great phone. My last phone was a Sam-sung Acclaim. Went through 3 of them before I gave up. Fast and more bells and whistle than you can count. I can even access our electronic medical records program when I am out of the office. It has a wifi hot spot too. You can have video chats too, not that anyone would like to see my mug. My next purchase should be black rim glasses and a pocket protector, I am very close to becoming a computer nerd.

I am now at full strength. I just finished the down load and updating of my Sonar studio to sonar Producer. Huge program. took a total of 8 hours to down load this monster and 2 hour to install every thing And I have high speed internet. Everything went quite smoothly. Now I just have to figure everything out again. Big learning curve with all of these programs. ;D
