I wish the topic were Irish bands or performers, I'd do well there. I am drawing a blank and someone said the Majestics don't count.

I did a search for free music on amazon and came up with hundreds of songs, must be something there for everyone. Lots of lesser known artist, probably something for everyone. tiny.cc/1fQDH

This very second I am listening to Odetta singing Jim Crowe Blues, on the soundtrack to Lightning in a bottle.

I am using the only one that works at the moment. It is a Marshall MG Combo 10 CD, I have an older Marshall Master Lead, but it needs some work, I think there are some cold solder points in it.

Ok, don't laugh but my first guitar hero was Brian May from Queen, that said I still think he is great.

I know there seems to be something of a low opinion of strats in here, but my pickup guitar is a 60th anniversary edition Fender strat. It isn't the best sounding guitar I have, but I like the "feel".

I am tinkering with the Jace Everett song Bad Things, but there is only so much you can with with a single guitar. Good song though.

I own own and older model Digitech rp300a digital modeling pedal, but to be honest I am so busy just learning to play that I don't even bother to use it. I will worry about getting the right effect sound after I have figured out the basics a bit more.

I am learning to play Wicked Little Town from the film Hedwig and the Angry Inch. It is a lovely little song, but I doubt it is the shared taste of anyone here.

At the moment I am looking for a simplified version of Blue Moon. Most people think of the Marcels or the Sha Na Na Na cover version, but I prefer the Ella Fitzgerald version. The problem is that both are either instrumental or rely heavily on keyboard. I was hoping for maybe someone knew something simple like the Chris Isaak version.
