go ot this web site to find out about guitar refinishing. I have used them several times to refinish my strat and got the perfect color to make mine look like Jeff Beck's. They sell the nitrocellulose finish also. just go by thier instructions and if done correctly should turn out nice.BUT it takes alot of time and patience to get it right.

like i had metioned in another post,i am looking for an acoustic. just curious about intonation? if i buy one and take it home and discover the intonation is not right what do i do then? not like i can adjust it with a screwdriver. on electrics they always need adjustment, don't understand how to adjust an acoustic.Guess i have to check it and make sure it's right on before i buy it?

I think the Robert Johnson version of "Crossroads" would be fitting.

2 electrics and no acoustics-which allows me to hijack this thread!!! Hey guys I just went looking for an acoustic and the price ranges were crazy. wanted to take home a gibson j-45 but they actually wanted me to pay for it so that was out of the question. wondering if anyone has any ideas on a good quality dreadnaught that wouldn't leave me pennyless.

with alot of hard work and practice I'm getting somewhere with my trying to get my thumb to play the bass line and my fingers to play the melody. Have a long way to go but what a thrill to finally see some improvement. Son House would be proud(yeah right).

nothing custom on the guitar. Guess store policy is i have to get the one that was ordered for me.this way the store won't lose out on a possible sale if i take a guitar out of thier stock.actually found one in a store a month ago and asked if something could be done but they wouldn't budge. i wish i could just cancel the whole deal because i was lied to, but you can't cancel a special order. Always thought guitar center cared for thier customers- yeah i was fooled. don't even want to think about what happens if there is something wrong with it when it arrives!!!!

3 months ago i was looking for a gibson traditional pro goldtop(had to get one). found out they only made 100 and they were gone. went to a guitar center and he told me his rep. would make one for me "special from gibson". I paid for it and still haven't gotten it. I then find out they rereleased the goldtop model and i can walk into any guitar center and pick one up today if i wanted. now i have to wait for my special order to come in. What an idiot i am, got really suckered

not really. you can buy a fender blues jr. all tube amp for around $500 an it is a truly great sounding amp. Go to a guitar center and give on a try- it will put a smile on your face!!!

You have to get a tube amp!!! Just because you are a hobyist doesn't mean you can't appreciate the sound of a great guitar through a REAL tube amp. Don't sell yourself short, you deserve the best get a tube amp and turn it up to 11.
