The Vox VT30 is a good amp for beginning, excellent to shape your tone. It was my first amp for almost 2 yrs. I'm selling it though because I stepped up to an Eggnater 30w head. The Roland 30 is nice too, can't go wrong with either one.

How a video on the mystery train lick popularized by Scotty Moore, maybe more than one version as I've seen it played several ways by Scotty, Arlen Ness and The Band.

I'll probably get a few snickers on this but what the heck. If you have a chance check out the Blueridge line of guitars, price range runs from 3-800. For around 800 you can get a solid spruce top with mahog (not laminated) back and sides. I'm not a great player but these sound as good as any 2800.00 Martin I've picked up.
