Our local pub is having it's annual music bash today. So we have been listening to all they have to offer including a pretty good Thin Lizzy tribute band. It is so loud that we can listen to it from the comfort of our home, thereby scoring twice - 1 saving some cash (it's a Scottish pastime) and 2 avoiding being drowned in the torrential rain that has been falling all day. Ahh happy times! You are are miserable git - if I was there we would be dancing on tables and getting drowned in beer and Gin

Jeff Strahan Band - Wayward Son Another bloody Texan - they get everywhere - even worse then the Oatmeal Savages I wonder what happened to the "c" in his surname? Bit careless of him to drop it. Not really - he had heard of this really good blues guitarist in Scotland called Strachan and he didn't want to be confused with him ;D ;D ;D ;D Having an 80s night now - I used to clear the dancefloor to this If you haven't seen "Stop Making Sense" By the Talking Heads you should

Thought she was a bit over-hyped myself however still very sad to see someone die so young but she was on that rocky road for sometime and it is a road that is so easy to go down

Here is a pictures of my mobile rig, the only thing I would do different is to make the subs wider, mine are 14 inches wide so they fit in my small truck. If I were making them again I would make them 20 in, It would give them a bigger punch. This system is great for 50 to up to 150 people or Happy Jack if he is really rocking out, double the cabs and you are up to over 300 people even outside. My total cost was about $1000- $1200 I built them 3 years ago. They would be just right in my conservatory - to drown out the shite on TV that Mrs Jack watches

Honeycomb Balsa wood? what the? www.epiphone.com/default.asp?ProductID=286&CollectionID=18 heh well it 'says' alder. It's more light for its small body size as you see from the massive cutaway, it's got like half the wood of a Tele! The neck's actually pretty comfy which is why I got it. The sound is kinda meh for me, but some tonerider rebel p90's should kick it up a bit. But I'm busy affording other things at the moment, like the original topic of this post I'm actually thinking of changing from 10 gauge strings back to 9's. The fingernail on my index finger on my left hand is trying to lift, too much gnarly vibrato last sunday I'm afraid. I'll probably replace the high E 9 with a 10 tho so I can't snap it so easy stupid weedy fingers! It is a well known fact the Honeycomb Balsa wood - just like Audi trannys are a made from a form of chocolate Note for Lesblues - Tranny is American for gearbox - has nothing to do with cross dressing or gender rearrangment
