Her music is not really my cup of tea but it's easy to see that she was a brilliant talent. I've no rocks to throw as I was once on the same self destructive path that took her life. Just a very, very sad happening.
Just read this myself. Yeah her stuff's not my cup of tea either RK, but it's still a shame. Fortunately not a path I've been on but it's easy to criticise from the outside. Not always easy to effect change.
While I agree that the death of Amy Winehouse is very sad and I can only imagine the grief her family and friends are going through. I can't help thinking about all those kids in Norway who were not dicing with death by messing around with drugs, instead they were looking forward to liv ing their lives and maybe even hoping to "make a difference". Their lives have been snatched away through no fault of theirs. Now that is sad.
