hi all i have a tanglewood evolution exotic this is its spec :-

The buttons you are referring to are for use with the pick up pre-amp and don't have anything to do with the tuner
Not all ISYS systems were fitted with tuners - from memory (when I was buying an electro a few years back) there was an Isys which was just a preamp with volume, contour and phase - one with a tuner and one with added bass, treble controls. I am pretty sure they are discontinued now. They were fitted to some Tanglewood and Cort guitars
The contour knob is a tone control that from memory is a pushes in / out to cancel out any tone and just gives you the guitar sound dry and out to allow you to change the tone by turning the conyour knob
The phase button is just a push button which prevents feedback at high volumes and increases bass at low volumes
If there is a tuner fitted it should have seperate button marked "tuner" which bypasses the preamp and will activate the tuner window
