Today we were at the studio for the first day of mix down when during a break the engineer told me to hang tight for a minute because he wanted to show me something. He came back with a 1955 ES125, 1957 Les Paul Junior (identical to the Billie Jo Armstrong model) and a 1959 Les Paul Junior double cutaway with single P90. Then he rolled out an early 70s silverface twin reverb. I had quite the time jamming on these awesome instruments. At the end of the day our singer put in an offer on the ES125 (my favorite by far). All of them were 100% original and in great shape. And the vibe of getting to spend some time with these guitars was really kind of a spiritual thing. Wondering what tunes were played on them over the years and so on. Cool day today, thought I'd share it with the brothers.
