Hmmmm dunno really if anything your equaliser should boost your volume if the volume of the equaliser is high - if you understand what I mean.
One of the uses of an EQ can be boost
Have you tried putting it at the start of your chain? Even though usually compression would be first
There isn't a hard and fast rule so it may be worth trying dudester

Lesblues, where did you bet the set from? Any chance of vids/soundclips? Red Dog Music in the Grassmarket. They were really good, I explained I was a newbie to the world of guitars and a bit shy about trying it out in the shop. They have individual rooms where you can close the door and no-one knows who is in there and you just pluck away. I have been thinking about posting some soundclips but really I'm not that good so just a tad shy at the moment. You should go along to Red Dog and try it out, they have the combo too, you won't be disappointed.

I was going to buy my Baja from them but they were 30 quid more expensive.
I usually go to guitarguitar in Corstorphine, good range and customer service.

Might check out red dog though next time im in town Guitarguitar were always my first port of call, you are right about their customer service. I bought my first electric there a 2nd hand Tokai Love Rock & a new vox AD15VT. But they didn't have the Vox seperates only the small combo with the 8" speaker. And they said they would not be getting the seperates in, ever. At Red Dog I was able to take the head and cab plus the larger combo with the 10" speaker in to the sound room to compare them against each other. Price wise Red Dog had the lowest Price I could find online plus they knocked another £10 off for me. You should go in even if it's just to try out the amp for yourself. Have you been into Guitarguitar in Glasgow? It is massive and the staff seem to be just as friendly as those in Edinburgh.

Not been in the Glasgow store. I need to go in as I ordered a pedal online but its now out of stock (when I ordered it, it was in stock). Giving them till early January, if not need to go pedal shopping so might try both stores.
Customer service is always a winner for me

Plus you can have the best customer service in the world but it doesn't count for much if they don't stock the product you want.
