This one's gonna be a for the moment answer cause this changes alot. ;D
Acoustic: A Field of Flowers by Phil Keaggy from his Lights of Madrid CD
Electric: Cowboy for Jesus which is an original tune that our singer and I wrote. It's coming up on the new CD.

On my acoustic I love to play "Home" by Chris Daughtry. Electric... has to be comfortably numb by Pink Floyd or "Love thing" by Joe Satriani. But it changes rapidly lol

I'll kind of answer the question. The song I'm playing the most right now is "Romeo and Juliet" by Dire Straits, and yes there will be a vid soon I'm really enjoying it as I figured it was too complicated and would lose something if not played right, but I'm actually pretty happy with how it's turning out. Not that I'm quite playing it right The songs I come back to when we have a break in band or just look for something to jam on would be Pride and Joy (SRV) or a jam in that style, Sultans of Swing (Dire Straits), La Grange (ZZ Top), Time is Tight (Booker T and the MGs).

hey mohi thanks for the reply long time no speak pal as above i dont know your acoustic song so i will look in to that one Yeah it's been a while mate As for Daughtry.. he is a great artist, personally I like most of his songs To have a second thought about my favourite electric songs, I have to mention Neil Zaza, as his new album songs are top priority for me right now. I did a cover of one of his newest songs, if you're interested you might check it out in soundclips section of this forum Cheers.

Video up in the video section for Romeo and Juliet. Brothers in Arms is a bit like learning the solo parts for Sultans of Swing. There's lots of little bits of fill and not really any chording to speak of. It's one you'd have to sit down for a while and work through small sections of I feel. That is if you want to play it as the original is, you could probably get away with playing something similar instead. There are a couple of repeated riffs you'd have to get in the right places tho so it's not all plain sailing Lovely song tho, and very Mark Knopfler's style

Classical Gas. I never tire of it and there's not another song that does what it does for me.

My favorite songs to play are 'Mary Jane's Last Dance' by Tom Petty; 'Ghost Riders in the Sky' by Johnny Cash; and 'Sharp Dressed Man' by ZZ Top. Which one is the one that I play best? Are you kidding? None of them , but if I were to choose one, I guess it would be 'Sharp Dressed Man'. Only because I know how to play the first solo in addition to the riffs, and I improvised and came up with my own last solo because of time constraints with my backing track.
