I downloaded a couple of new guitar oriented albums tonight that really floored me.
Eric Johnson's "Up Close" - Can this guy play something uninteresting...I think not. EJ is still a the top of his game. Great stuff.
Jerry Reed's "Exploring Guitar Country" - An old offering but WOW, this is some great music. Jerry Reed was a true musical monster. His version of "Georgia on my Mind" is to die for.
Re re re re picked up "What If" by the Dixie Dregs. My favorite all time band. Steve Morse is a genius in my thinking. The studio cut of "Ice Cakes" is still mind blowing.
What guitar stuff is on your Ipod's of late?

I always thought Jerry Reed was a great musician! As for guitar stuff I've been listening to lately, I can never get enough of Stevie Ray Vaughan. The one contemporary guitarist that I keep going to again and again is Henry Garza of Los Lonely Boys. His playing seems to put a smile on my face every time!

Have you listened to any Sean Costello? A guy HJ introduced me to He was an excellent guitarist. I was listening to his Moanin' for Molasses album last night and it is very good.
