Whether I want to improve on drums, guitar, or keyboard, or start learning a new instrument like the violin, harmonica, or accordion. I'm not kidding about the squeezebox either. It seems like a challenge, and as "metal" as I am, I thoroughly enjoy challenges.

I have been focusing more on the guitar these past few years, but I also have my keyboard, harmonica, banjo and violin that I'd like to learn more on. I'll take out my keyboard and banjo once in long while, the other two I take out to a lesser extent (if that is possible). Too many instruments, too little time...but there is always hope that I will get to them one day! The accordion sounds like fun!

You guys that can play violin knock me out. Every time I try it all I can make it do is this God awful screech. I settled on guitar as my focus about 4 years ago. I was pretty well convinced before that, that bass would be my thing. I really do love that instrument. Played right it is the rudder of the song. You have the responsibility of rhythm and harmony with them there 4 strings. OK, maybe that was just my ego talking. ;D

The last time I picked up my violin, I was barely getting out of the 'screech phase'. If I tried it now, it would be 'screech city' all over again. The secret is, I think, a lot of rosin on the bow and just the right amount of pressure from the bow on the strings.
