Pretty much yeah, I just let the fingers have fun on the fretboard. If there is a music style where I try to NOT think at all, it is definitely the blues.

i reckon ill give the ''mojo'' method a try lol coz one thing i do know about the blues is that you know instantly if it sounds right or not

I only really know the blues pentatonic (which is a 5 note minor pentatonic scale with a few extra notes for feeling). I learned this from www.12bar.de and look at blues scales. It's not as easy as a video, but is a wealth of info. I do play 'around' this scale a lot tho - I'm not note-for-note with anything I do If you practice it as is, and listen to how other blues players play, you gradually start hearing other notes and how they fit in too depending where you are in the song. Blues is simple in its structure, so it starts off quite easy to learn which is great. You have to listen to the masters tho and really learn how to sing with your playing.... I can't really advise on that - maybe I'll try in another 20 years

loved the jam btw mojo always nice to get into some strumming on those hendrix style chords (from what I could see of the fingering) at the end - almost saw a smile creeping in while you were playing.

If you're not smilin', why play at all?
