This is James Taylor's version off his Live CD and is one of my favourites. His intro to this is (paraphrasing a little) "This is a song George Jones did. He did it so good it makes you weep. It makes your dog weep; makes your roof leak to hear this song." www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ai3eWolpLBQTears your heart out, chops it up into little bits, stomps on all the little bits, mushes it all back together, sticks it in a blender and turns it on, then sets the blender on fire. It's fantastic

You mean where WASN'T the warning? If the 2nd line didn't do it for you, the 4th line should have It's George Jones song! I'll post Elvis' version then you'll be crying for more than one reason

Arhhh! You didn't warn me he was singing country. Oh, come on Les, it's a great song! Besides Spanish, I grew up listening to this kind of stuff! That was a tear jerker of one sort, and here is another from a different angle, also by George (the ultimate tear jerker, IMO!)

I actually have quite a varied taste in music, really I do, and I enjoy listening to James Taylor. Normally. I even own some of his albums. However I really find it difficult to enjoy some (most ) Country music and I'm afraid that song done by Mr Taylor really, really didn't do it for me, sorry. Now if we can all just get back to proper music. You know the kind I mean.
