Cool vid, Mojo used to have a video lesson for this song but I can't seem to find it on the site. By the way, who says he should be playing a Strat? ;D ;D

Missed Mojo's lesson the first time around, thanks for the post. He does make it a bit more understandable.

I've been working on The Wind Cries Mary. You can play it simply with just the chords, sounds a bit flat tho. Or you can hammer on and add in some of the accent notes and fills and you end up with a really difficult song to play!
I guess I usually follow this process when learning a song, play something as simply as possible to start, just the basic chords/riffs. Then once I'm used to the pattern of where it's going I add to that.

Thanks for the link, Jay! I like the close-ups in the video, but Arlen doesn't elaborate much on how he's doing it. I guess it's a matter of watching the video over and over and slowing it down if possible. That's what I like about Mojo, he takes his time and explains things so well.
