May I be a wee bit contentious and politely suggest that no one should have to listen to, let alone play any country/folk songs unless it is for the purpose of getting out of a gig alive (as in the Blues Brothers movie). Just a suggestion. Blues: Need your Love so bad Black Magic Woman (Fleetwood Mac version) Smokestack Lightin' Hoochie Coochie Man And seeing as HJ already chose Born Under Bad Sign, I'll go for Stormy Monday Blues Rock Rock me Baby - the Robin Trower version Because the Night Honky Tonk Woman Johnny B Goode Since you been Gone

I grew up listening to Country, so my Country choices are 'oldies but goodies':
San Antonio Rose
Heartaches by the Number
Folsom Prison Blues (could also be put in Blues selections)
Good Hearted Woman
Guitars, Cadillacs
Blues:
Sweet Home Chicago
Mary Had a Little Lamb
It Hurts Me Too
Someday After a While (You Will be Sorry)
I'll Survive
Rock:
Back in Black
Sweet Home Alabama
Sharp Dressed Man
Turn the Page
You Shook Me All Night Long

Thought about this for a while. You don't have to play them like the original, and some are played to death! And trying to stay away from what's already been said. Country / Folk (yeah I don't know many of these) Ghost Riders in the Sky Sweet Baby James Fire and Rain The Thunder Rolls Midnight Rider (don't actually know this one, but I should) Rock Cocaine Rocky Mountain Way Sultans of Swing Roadhouse Blues No Particular Place to go Blues Bright Lights, Big City Further on up the Road Crossroads Before you Accuse me Everyday I have the Blues Not eclectic at all
