I think I'll leave that honour to one of our more experienced colleagues. :-)

Question for me is "how do you do it?" I think we have a camera that records around here somewhere. But wouldn't the audio kind suck with one of those things? Clues anyone?

I use personally a camcorder - an old mini-DV from Sony - that I hook up via firewire straight into an old Gateway computer. Using Windows Movie Maker - free and built into Windows XP - I record straight with that set up. I do not use another mic - just the one that's part of the camcorder. So pretty low-tech all in all, but it works for me As for the rules, I'll set up a special thread. Maybe we could start this week end?

The new logitech 9000 Web Cam has great video and sound, Many other web cams work well and often come with the soft ware that is easy to put it directly into You Tube. The Logitech allows you to pick your mic input so that makes it very flexible. Good luck guys.

I pulled the trigger!!!!!!!!! www.youtube.com/user/pwfirst?feature=mhumHer is a picture of my recording studio, As some of you know I record Christian artist for free, just for the fun of it. I ran my vocal and guitar through my vocalizor. Neat little machine that makes vocal harmony on the fly for recording and live performances. Had a little too much verb on this recording. This is a song I wrote this week, still a little rough but it takes me about 3 weeks to finish a song. This is one of my first attempts at Christian Blues. Remember I am a white guy from Iowa,, not sure we have any blues up here in Gods country. I was hoping some of you guys might add some parts to the songs and help me finish it. The Chords are simple: Em7 Asus A ---- C#m7 D C D C D ------- C G D After I played it back it sounded familiar " Spooky" spooky little girl like you. O well the plagiarism was not intentional. As you can see I used the new Tele just for all you teleholics out there. Hope you guys enjoy it.. Remeber no laughing out loud..
