JUst wondered if anyone had built their own, either from a kit or from scratch. Something I quite fancy having a go at. Not quite so daunting as building/modding a guitar.
So if anyone can share some knowledge on the subject, hints tips etc that would be grand.

I have the same desire. I love tinkering and that sounds like a tinkerer's dream. Funny though, it's always seemed a bit more intimidating to me than the guitar thing. As far as I know a 15 to 30 watt soldering iron and some 60/40 rosin core of a small diameter is the tool list. I have a soldering stand I found at Radio Shack that has two arms with alligator clips and a magnifying glass attached that would probably help as well. BYOC has some really cool kits to look at on their website. My problem is that my pedalboard has grown exponentially in the last several weeks and there is absolutely no room anywhere on it. Or is there.... ? ;D

Thanks for the links man. Especially the waterslide and diy stuff. Looks like you can make a true bypass tube screamer pretty darn cheap.
