I started a blog today to document my guitar learning and playing experience. I am not practicing enough, and I thought that if I started documenting my guitar-related activities, that it might get me to practice more and improve my playing. I think it will be a good tool to monitor my progress and at the same time, I will get to share my learning experience with others. After all, if I am going to have a guitar-related blog, I have to have interaction with the guitar in order to write something about it in the blog! Another reason I decided to create a blog is to be able to share audio clips with you guys. I really don't want to join YouTube or any music site, so I am going to upload my audio files to a file hosting site (FileFactory) and then link them to my blog. FileFactory has a little audio player that you can embed in blogs and websites, so that's what I'm using. Here's the link to my blog: guitarnoodlin.blogspot.com/Check it out and let me know what you think of my idea. I only have one audio file so far. It is an old one that I made using my DigiTech RP50 shortly after I got it and shortly before getting my Ibanez Jet King in 2008. I am using my Harmony Strat Copy in the audio clip with five different programmed presets from the RP50.

Hey, smart thinking Gasman, I think you're really on the right tracks now. I have to say your playing is great, and the best thing about it- it's clean. Not everyone can achieve that, good work, and keep your BLOG updated

Hey, smart thinking Gasman, I think you're really on the right tracks now. I have to say your playing is great, and the best thing about it- it's clean. Not everyone can achieve that, good work, and keep your BLOG updated Thanks Mohi! I try to update my blog at least once a week. I am finding that it is helping me out to keep doing different things on the guitar. I'm glad you like the little sound clip I have on there, you are too kind! As I said before, it is old, and I need to start recording myself more. When I do record, I use my RP50 processor straight into Audacity. I'll be getting a Vox DA5 amp next week with built-in effects, so I might give that a try when recording. Did you ever get that Vox amp you mentioned on your other thread? I finally found a better deal on the DA5 in one of the other guitar forums I belong to, so I ordered it from a member there instead of buying the one on the local Craigslist. I'll let you know what I think of it.

Yeah I'm planning to get that amp this summer, don't know exactly when But I'm really excited to get that Vox valvetronix, I'll let you all know and hear For recordings I use Ableton live with "waves audio" combined, and that's pretty easy to manage and fun too

Hey Mohi, thanks for following my blog! My Vox DA5 was shipped out today. It is scheduled to be here next Monday. I think it will compliment my Fender Champ 600 nicely. I'm getting excited too so I know what you mean!
